MILWAUKEE – Liphatech has announced an enhancement to its SoftSecure Technology (SST) and addition to its NoTox product line with the renaming of its attractant for rats and mice under the NoTox brand. These changes allow Liphatech to offer more versatility to pest control professionals (PMPs) who use the products as part of their rodent control program.
The easy-to-use SST, suitable for attaching Liphatech soft baits or mini blocks inside Liphatech’s Aegis-RP and Aegis-RP Anchor bait stations, now features an improved design that elevates the bait to a more optimal feeding angle inside Aegis bait stations, Liphatech reports. The SST keeps the bait secure and in place without the need for horizontal or vertical rods. Bait can be placed directly on the SST, allowing rodents to feed between the metal bars.
In addition to the SST enhancement, Liphatech’s NoTox brand is now a family of products including NoTox Soft Bait attractant – formerly known as Liphatech rat and mouse attractant. In addition to NoTox monitor blocks, non-toxic NoTox soft bait attractant is highly attractive to rodents, pests and parasites, even when competing feeds are available, Liphatech reports. NoTox Soft Bait Attractant can be used with or without the paper wrap on snap traps and glue boards, as well as bait stations and live fish traps. Target pests include, but are not limited to, the following species: house mouse, Norway rat, roof rat, raccoon, chipmunk and squirrel.
NoTox Soft Bait Attractant is available in new packaging from distributors in cases containing eight labeled 1 lb bags of 10 gram sachets – labeled for sale per case or 1 lb bag.
Liphatech’s unique NoTox monitoring blocks remain unchanged. They contain no active ingredients and can be used to monitor the activity of house mice, Norway rats and roof rats in and around buildings. The mini blocks are based on the same formula as Liphatech’s Maki baits, have a triangular shape that makes baits easy to identify, and use a highly visible red dye in the droppings.
“We are always looking for ways to innovate at Liphatech and offer tools that help PMPs in their rodent control efforts – with new products as well as our proven products,” said Charlie Passantino, commercial director of the structural pest control at Liphatech. “The enhancements to SST will benefit PMPs with product performance and having our two monitor/attractant products in the same family will simplify the understanding and ordering process for both distributors and PMPs.”
