Despite going nearly $1 million into debt when he bought the business, Massey recovered quickly and today the company employs more than 2,500 team members and operates 2 300 vehicles that provide residential and commercial pest prevention, termite protection, landscaping and irrigation services to more than 750,000 customers at more than 170 service centers in Florida, Georgia, Louisiana , Texas, South Carolina, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Virginia and Tennessee. As Harvey Massey noted in his Hall of Fame profile: “It’s a people thing. It always has been and always will be. I really like that aspect.
